Job Description:


  • Carrying out topographic surveying.
  • Preparing daily activities reports.
  • Checking of construction drawings with field problems and proposing changes if required to the site team.
  • Solving issues when needed for site surveyors.
  • Observations of vertical control data by running level line (benchmark)
  • Supervise new survey control points/temporary benchmarks for closing traverse around the project.
  • Verifying data and calculations.
  • Verify settingout of Irrigation Sub main line, secondary line, pull boxes, valve chambers, isolation value, tapping points, feeder pillars, water meter chambers.
  • Shop drawings review as per IFC/NOC drawings.
  • Setting out Design levels, Profiles & Layout of horizontal alignments.
  • Researching legal documents, survey records, and land titles to clarify information about property boundaries.
  • Calculation of slopes meeting points, plotting & calculation of crosssectional areas.
  • Identifying existing utilities as per concern authorities NOC.

  • Recording (OGL) existing ground level using leveling instrument.
  • Supervise earthwork, Embankments layer by layer, formation, Sub Grade, Road Aggregate, Road Base, Base course, wearing course, and Binder course.
  • Responsible for Supervision of all survey work within given areas.
  • Managing all construction activities related to the survey.
  • Able to read and understand construction drawings, and coordinate with project/site engineers, supervisors, and superintendents to plan upcoming survey needs.
  • Calculation of quantities for all types of survey works.
  • Checking of existing services as per received drawings from relevant authorities and trial pit's location.
  • Collecting all detail related to existing services observed during trial pits for payment and record purposes.
  • Solving issues when needed for site surveyors.
  • Checking of construction drawings with field problems and proposing changes if required to the site team.
  • Preparing working drawings by calculations through construction drawings.
  • Preparing daily activities reports.
  • Downloading and uploading of data from survey equipment.
  • Input for shop and asbuilt drawings.
  • Supervise and inspection of asBuilt drawings to verify the details and content of drawings.
  • Inspections of Calibration Certificate of all survey Instruments every 6 months.
  • Inspection for future ducts, Split ducts and protection concrete slaps.
  • Making Road profiles.
  • Snag lists preparing before handover site to the client.
  • Speed Hump raise hump and table hump inspection.
  • Streetlight settingout and leveling supervise.
  • Supervise road IPs and submit them online to TPD for final approval, before proceeding to start road works.

Qualifications:


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Normally receives general supervision on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.

Conducts surveys to ascertain the locations of natural features and human-made structures on the earth's surface, underground, and underwater, using electronic distance-measuring equipment and other surveying instruments.

Operates and manages land-information computer systems, performs tasks such as storing data, making inquiries, and producing plots and reports.

Reviews information from survey teams regarding measurement of distances, directions, angles between points and elevation of points, lines, and contours on, above, and below the earth's surface.

Researches legal records, looks for evidence of previous boundaries, and analyzes the data to determine the location of boundary lines.

Records the results of surveys, verifies the accuracy of data, and prepares plots, maps, and reports. An experienced professional with full understanding of area of specialization. Works on problems of diverse scope.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 7 years experience overall Al Ain experience is advantageous Recognized degree in required field of expertize.
