    Job Description

    Job Purpose

    • Facilitate delivery of strategic initiatives to address the bank's needs post thorough business needs analysis
    • Assist the project sponsor/owner in managing the business activities and tasks within the project
    • Govern regular Problems / Production issues prioritization session b/w Business and Group IT
    • Ensure escalated issues impacting bank Customers, Profitability, and Reputation are handled by respective Group IT teams in a timely manner and follow-up till satisfactory closure
    • Engage with internal customers and external entities within the scope of the projects
    • Evaluate and implement solutions based on business requirement following the banks standard methodology and policies
    • Manage Business, Group IT team, Project board and Steering Committee
    • Be accountable for creation of detailed business requirements documentation
    • Take appropriate actions if deadline, quality or budget are significantly at risk
    • Systematic analyses and draws accurate conclusions based on evidence and addressing the root-cause till closure
    • Proactively offers assistance / manages to minimize escalations to avoid adverse impact on business operations
    • Establish strong relationships with stakeholders to understand strategic, tactical and operational challenges, define technology solutions to address Business objectives
    • Be directly accountable for multiple projects at one-time, and be able to coordinate with respective technology project managers and business teams professionally
    • Conduct requirement workshops and recommend business solutions aligned with technology strategy
    • Provide strong portfolio/project management expertise, manage demand management, and address operational challenges, conduct status update meetings, and oversee the technology interests of Business units
    • Manage change requests, enhancements and defects by providing solutions, recommendations and cost estimates

    Qualifications, Experience & Skills

    • University degree (preferably in IT / Engineering field)
    • Prince 2, PMP, ITIL (Desirable)
    • 5 years of similar job experience, including Experience in high-end Tech companies, Banks, Consulting firms
    • Experience in implementing full life cycle of a project
    • Good understanding of the high level technical application architecture and design.
    • Good understanding of the security, compliance and Audit requirements
    • International exposure will be an added advantage
    • Experience with Project Management, Data Analytics support, Technical docs review, Budget planning and Requirements gathering is essential
