Description

F&B company 13 years on the UAE market looking for a Chief Accounting Officer for our Dubai office with minimum 5 years of experience.

He/She should take on many responsibilities, all of which relate to overseeing and directing the company's short and long-term financial goals, maintaining the company's financial well-being.

1. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY

Excellent knowledge in IFRS Standards
Excellent knowledge in Taxation in Dubai (VAT, CIT, Excise tax, Customs Duty)
Excellent understanding of transfer pricing
Experience in consolidation of financial reports
Knowledge in International settlements and transactions
Experience in Team leading
Oversee the daytoday operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting.
Review and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to identify trends and variances.
Ensuring the financial reporting is accurate, submitted on time and in compliance with regulations.
Development of financial strategies, the creation and management of financial plans and budgets, and the analysis of market trends.
Manage the company's financial planning that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Plan and perform risk management duties that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Determine finance KPIs that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Develop and monitor objectives for the financial department.
Create policies that allow each department to work in the most organized way.
Handle negotiations for mergers, acquisitions, and the establishment of new divisions within the company
Oversee the financial operations of the organization, including accounting, treasury, tax, and risk management.
Allocate company funds accordingly to ensure each department can function at an optimal pace.
Monitor and manage the organization's cash flow, including managing bank accounts, lines of credit, and investments.
Manage and oversee all financial affairs for the organization.
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
