Finance Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities within the organization.

Your primary objective will be to ensure the company's financial health, maintain accurate financial records, and provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team.

Responsibilities:


Financial Planning and Analysis:
Develop and implement financial strategies, forecasts, and budgets to support the company's goals and objectives. Conduct thorough financial analysis, including variance analysis, and provide recommendations to improve profitability and cost-effectiveness.

Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Present financial reports to management, highlighting key financial indicators and trends. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

Cash Flow Management:
Monitor cash flow and manage working capital to ensure the company's liquidity needs are met. Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow, including managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.

Budgeting and Cost Control:
Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to develop accurate and realistic budgets. Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvement.

Financial Compliance:
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies. Stay up to date with accounting standards and best practices. Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits.

Team Management:
Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and high-performing finance department.


Requirements:


Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) are preferred.

Experience:
Proven work experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar financial management role. Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, and risk management.

Analytical Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights to drive business decisions.

Communication and Leadership:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

Integrity and Ethics:
High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to financial regulations and compliance standards.
