As Regional Sales Director – Middle East, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth across the Middle East region, increasing market share by managing regional sales operations, developing key customer relationships, and expanding channel and project-based opportunities within oil & gas, power, water, petrochemical, and process industries.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow regional sales activities across the Middle East, including direct sales, EPC engagement, and channel partners.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to increase market penetration, revenue, and profitability.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key EPCs, end users, consultants, government entities, and strategic partners.
- Identify, pursue, and manage major project opportunities, including tender development, proposal reviews, and commercial negotiations.
- Evaluate regional market performance and competitive positioning to support strategic decision-making.
- Set sales targets and ensure regional objectives are met relative to market conditions and competitive factors.
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional sales teams, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and performance expectations.
- Support and manage agents, distributors, and channel partners to maximize regional coverage and effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting through CRM systems.
- Provide regular feedback to global leadership regarding market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and product development opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, technical conferences, and key customer meetings.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, service, operations, and product management teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Support the development of aftermarket and long-term service opportunities across the region.
Qualifications:
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the Middle East and GCC region.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales or business development within industrial pumps, rotating equipment, or heavy industrial capital equipment.
- Strong understanding of regional markets, EPC project environments, and large-scale industrial sales processes.
- Proven track record leading regional sales teams and managing complex, high-value projects.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships, even in complex or challenging commercial environments.
