Seeking a dynamic and motivatedTelemarketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate willbe responsible for reaching out to businesses to encourage them toapply for a prestigious award sponsored by our government agency.This role demands excellent communication skills a persuasivenature and the ability to workindependently.

Responsibilities:

1.Conduct cold calls to businesses introducing them to the awardprogram

2. Provide detailed information about theawards benefits criteria and applicationprocess

3. Persuasively communicate the value andprestige associated with the award

4. Track andrecord call outcomes maintaining detailed notes for followupactions

5. Collecting and compiling relevantcontacts to include in the database and updating contactinformation as needed

6. Work towards call andconversion targets set by the agency of encouraging companies toparticipate in the award

7. Address questions andconcerns from potential applicantsprofessionally

8. Update customer relationshipmanagement (CRM) systems with call details

9.Submitting daily and weekly update reports on the number of callsdone andstatus

Qualifications:

• Proven experience intelemarketing
• StrongEnglish communication and interpersonalskills
• Ability topersuade and influencedecisionmakers
• Selfmotivated with excellent time managementskills
• Familiarity withCRM software and telephone systems
• Knowledge of the industry related to the award is aplus
