    Wood has beenawarded a major project with ADNOC and we are looking to hireSenior Electrical Engineer to be based at our Abu Dhabi EngineeringCenter.

    Responsibilities

    • Thorough knowledge and understandingof the Electrical engineering design andanalysis.
    • Thorough awareness of relevantinternational codes and standards.
    • Effectivetechnical and practical skills and able to consistently deliverquality, accurate and timely work to WOOD and itsclients.
    • Previous experience of performing SiteSurvey to collect electrical data required fordesign.
    • Experience in Assess Study , ConceptSelection ,Pre-FEED, FEED and Detail Engineeringjobs
    • Experience in Brownfield Jobs such aspreparation of Modification scope of Work, Shutdown and ChangeoverPhilosophy
    • Experience to perform all associatedelectrical calculations such as equipment sizing (switchgears,Transformers, Generators), Cable sizing, Subsea Cable Sizing, UPSSizing, Lighting and Earthingcalculations.
    • Experience of preparingElectrical Control System I/O List, Architecture Diagram andinterface with instrument (DCS/ESD)system
    • Experience of preparing MaterialPurchase Specifications, Technical Bids Evaluation, TechnicalClarifications, Scope of Works, Review of VendorOffers
    • Experience of the application of HAZOP,E-HAZOP, 3D Model and Constructability Review to Electricaldesign.
    • Experience with Electrical design forprefabricated/modular packagedequipment.
    • Experience in Power System modellingand study on ETAP for performing following studies : Short Circuit,Load, Flow, Motor Starting, Arc Flash , Harmonic Study and RelayCoordination
    • Experience of working on SPELSoftware
    • Ability to develop ElectricalSpecifications, Datasheets, Schedules, Layout Drawings, ElectricalMTO.
    • Previous experience of working in theMiddle East/Iraq
    • Ability to work on assignedscope independently
    • Ability to lead designersand junior engineers
    • Proficient in the use ofNavisworks, Lighting calculation Software (Dialux etc.) andMS-office
    • Good Oral and Communicationskills.
    • Able to demonstrate team workingskills.
    • Flexible with a can-doattitude.

    Qualifications

    • BSc, BEng orequivalent.
    • Minimum 10 year of relevantexperience in oil & gasindustry.
    • Bachelor honours degree in a relevantengineering discipline from recognizedinstitution
    • Professional Accreditation fromrecognized institute (preferable)
    • Middle EastExperience
