The applicant needs to have obtained a PhD inpolitical science or related fields such as economics, psychology,or sociology with research experience.

The successful applicantwill have excellent research skills with an emphasis on lab orsurvey experiments.

The position is open to applicants with avariety of topical knowledge in areas such as public opinion,populism, migration studies, women in politics, authoritarianism,and state-society relations.

Prior experience in the Arab Gulfregion and knowledge of Arabic will also be considered favorablybut are not required.
