Description
We are looking for a qualified Auto Floor Shop Manager to manage our team and provide effective guidance. You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members daily.


Experience working with This position will manage and lead a team of people in allocating workload and managing the day-to-day operations in the workshop.


As an Auto Floor Shop Manager, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent.

You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration.


Responsibilities

  • Support the Operations Manager on daytoday task.
  • Identify problems in the operations process and resolve them in a quick and timely manner.
  • Plan, direct, or coordinate the actual distribution or movement of service to the customer.
  • Ensuring consumables and service parts are timely ordered.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer's vehicle issues.
  • Managing the relationship with spare parts.
  • Responsible for achieving assigned upselling sales targets for the company services.
  • Train and coach, all team members and foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Supply valuable reporting and metrics related to operations.
  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
  • Set clear team goals.
  • Delegate tasks and set deadlines.
  • Oversee daytoday operation.
  • Monitor team performance and report on metrics.
  • Motivate team members.
  • Listen to team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
  • Work with the service advisors to respond to client's requests for updates on the status of their jobs and keep the communication channels open to ensure information is accurate.
  • Investigate customer complaints and concerns arising from executed service and take appropriate solutions. Discuss with team to identify appropriate course of action.
  • Review customers service orders and inspect the quality of a technician repairs before the release of vehicles.
  • Review work orders to ensure that all actions have been documented according to Service Workshop policies and procedures.
  • Receive and review feedback from customers and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure adequate maintenance of tools, equipment, and other materials in the Service Area.
  • Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments.
  • Supervise and coordinate workshop activities to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Manage and prioritize work orders, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain and enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize workshop processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements to implement best practices.
  • Supervise workshop staff, including assigning tasks and responsibilities, monitoring performance, and providing training and support as needed.
  • Supervising a team of technicians who are responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
  • Ensuring that technicians are properly trained and have the necessary tools and equipment to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Support service staff to ensure maintenance of tools is done on a timely basis to ensure costs of business are kept to a minimum without compromising on the safety aspect.
  • Communicating with customers (in special cases) and explaining diagnostic results and repair recommendations.
  • Ensuring that the workshop is clean, organized, and wellmaintained.
  • Adhering to all safety regulations and ensuring that technicians follow proper safety procedures.
  • Need to support the Manager and explain the business situation and any action plans to make the service center in profitable way.
  • Social Media knowledge will be added advantage.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years' relevant experience preferably in Automotive Industry
  • Proficient in English and Arabic will be added advantage.
  • Handson experience implementing operational processes.
  • Knowledge of operational principles and policies.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility and Agility.
  • Team leadership.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
