Job Purpose
Managing the smooth running of
Fit Out Projects for the business. Ensuring works are completed to the highest standard and completed on time. Maximize the profitability of the company by ensuring all key duties are carried out to company standard.


Key Duties

  • The ability to understand drawings & details, material finishes and construction material requirements.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in material and manpower planning management.
  • Strong ability to perform settingout plans on site as per approved drawings.
  • Efficient management of independent sites and contractors.
  • Experience of executing commercial projects such as retail stores, offices, etc.
  • Knowledge of electrical and MEP works with Civil experience.
  • Prepare daily site progress reports and report to Project Engineer.
  • Conduct regular daily Site visits managing Technicians to complete jobs to company standard and meet deadlines.
  • Provide cohesive quotations and estimations for jobs.
  • Be responsible for property maintenance including building repairs, painting, plumbing, maintenance, etc.
  • Manage, supervise and coordinate with the operations team in all aspects of work.
  • Supplies and equipment for use; compare costs for maximum value for money by way of securing competitive quotes.
  • Submit appropriate paperwork/reports for each job.
  • Submit all paperwork from Office on the requested timing for the smooth running of the business.
  • Prepare facilities maintenance schedules and communicate with the Operations Manager and respective Facilities Engineer.
  • Prepare periodic reports on time with respect to the Facilities Management activities, work performance, and achievements.
  • Liaise as and when required with clients and give feedback to the Project Engineer/Operation Manager.
  • Ensure upkeep and maintenance of all equipment provided to maintenance teams.
  • Identify and troubleshoot potential problems onsite.
  • Ensure the provision of a safe and healthy working environment for all onsite teams.
  • Ensure correct supervision and training are provided for all onsite teams.
  • Establish and maintain proper records in accordance with best practice requirements.
  • Be familiar with all heating, ventilating, mechanical and electrical equipment in each building and have a sound understanding of the purpose and general working of such equipment.
  • Ensure that all Technicians are aware of all of our safety procedures and adhere to them unfailingly.
  • Ensures that all staff are aware of the need and are trained to use appropriate protective clothing and equipment.
  • Ensure to record and report all accidents/incidents on site and report to Project Engineer and Operation Manager. Bring any safety concerns to the attention of the Operations Manager.
  • Ensure that site equipment is used in accordance with the manufacturer's Instruction and any issued method statements and risk assessments.
  • Promptly report any workplace injuries to the Project Engineer and assist with any internal and external accident investigations.
  • Ensure that all staff are aware and adhere to our Health and Safety Policies and practices, as this is essential to this role and are a condition of employment.
  • HSE knowledge is a must to prepare sites for mobilization and demobilization.
  • Actively participate in facilities management meetings and training and development exercises. Give constructive feedback to ensure maximum performance.
  • Report to FM Engineer in accordance with an agreed procedure, ensuring the Operations Manager is kept informed on matters relating to standards of facilities management.
  • To assist in new project tendering and pricing. Be aware of prospects in new jobs and new suppliers, sourcing and notifying FM Engineer/OPS Manager for new business.
  • 100% adherence to the Health and Safety Policy.
  • 100% adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Complete Company E-Learning Training; when required.

Personal Specification

  • Prior UAE experience in the Fit Out works field with a Valid UAE Driving License is essential.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in relative field
  • Knowledge of UAE regulations and law.
  • At least two to five years of experience in Fit Out Supervisor role.
  • Fluent in English a must.
  • Risk assessment skills required.
  • Must be a good team leader who is highly motivated and uses their own initiative.
  • Excellent supervisory abilities.
  • Good interpersonal and problemsolving skills.
  • Conscientious with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
