Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to join our healthcare team.

The Medical Transcriptionist plays a vital role in accurately transcribing and documenting medical reports, patient records, and other healthcare-related materials.

This position contributes to the maintenance of accurate medical records and ensures the confidentiality of patient information.


Responsibilities:

• Operate and utilize designated word processing, dictation, and transcription equipment as directed to complete assignments.
• Meet the required efficiency set by the doctors/department.
• Provide quality transcription by the use of proper resources and proofreading of own work.
• Ensure the confidentiality of the contents of the reports transcribed.
• Excellent listening, written and oral communication skills, including English usage, grammar, punctuation, and style.
• Assisting and coordinating for department admin work.
• Work under pressure with time constraints.
• Follow department s/doctors formats in doing reports.
• Understand diverse accents and varying dictation styles.
• Good eye, hand and auditory coordination. Requirements
• Proven experience as a medical transcriptionist in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent listening and typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency in using transcription software and word processing tools.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset
