    Description

    We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Hypermarket Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hypermarket in the Gulf region. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing hypermarket stores and must be fluent in Arabic. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and profitable operation of the store while maintaining high standards of customer service and team management.

    The Role

    You will be responsible for :

    • Oversee the overall operations of the hypermarket, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
    • Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
    • Manage and lead a diverse team of staff, including department managers, cashiers, stock clerks, and other support staff.
    • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, including ordering and replenishment of stock as needed.
    • Maintain the store's cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
    • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
    • Create and execute marketing and promotional campaigns to drive foot traffic and sales.
    • Collaborate with senior management to establish and meet financial targets and goals.
    • Ensure a safe and secure working environment for both customers and employees.

    Ideal Profile

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in hypermarket or large retail store management, with a proven track record of success in the Gulf region.
    • Fluent in Arabic and English (both written and spoken) in order to be able to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail management software.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Understanding of merchandising, inventory management, and sales techniques.
    • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
    • Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field is preferred.
    • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
    • The ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment.
