Job description
We are looking for a Contracts Manager to work in the United Kingdom.


Job Overview:


The primary purpose of the Contracts Manager role is to manage and coordinate the company's provision of services to its customers.

The role focuses on the development of appropriate proposals and the subsequent fulfillment of the resulting contracts, matching customer needs to services that the company provides.

This role is fundamental to securing and maintaining a pipeline of work for the company.

The tagline of the company is, "Engineering solutions for better working environments".

This role ensures that the operational, commercial, and legal interests of the company are effectively coordinated as we deliver such solutions efficiently.

The role is central to the success of the business.


Responsibilities:


  • Development of tender responses, matching the capability and services provided by the company to the needs of the customer in a commercially attractive way.
  • Subsequent tender clarification to ensure common understanding of all aspects of service delivery.
  • Coordination of the development and delivery of client documentation such as appropriate risk assessments, method statements and lifting plans
  • Contract management of projects including weekly meetings with clients and completion of relevant reports
  • Within the company, effective liaison between Senior Managers, Business Development Executives, HSE Professionals and the Operations team and in particular, regular progress review with Commercial Director
  • Post project closeout and invoice initiation
  • Maintenance and reporting of internal data on material flows, inbound and outbound.
  • On occasion support of our Business Development executives, developing new customers and markets.
  • Prospecting new clients and conduct initial introduction meetings.
  • Presentations to potential and existing clients on our services and capabilities.
  • Attendance at key industry events engaging with attendees and building on company and personal profiles.

Requirements:


  • Educated to Degree level in Business, Engineering, Management, or will be able to demonstrate proven experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Ability to build and foster excellent customer relationships.
  • Attention to detail to ensure that company and client deliverables are clear and that nothing is missed.
  • Flexibility as priorities within the business change and need to be adapted.
  • Collaborative and friendly approach, both internally and externally.
  • Self
- motivated with commitment to develop relationships on long term projects.
