Export Logistics Coordinator - Dubai, United Arab Emirates - PSA BDP

Description

Responsibilities:

Individualto be a resource, responsible to coordinate export traffickingfunctions, data entry, and document distribution duties associatedwith customer export shipments through BDP.

• Order Processing: Receive documentsand initiate logging process, confirm data received is incompliance with all US Custom requirements, process all documentsin accordance with requirements, coordinate cargo availability andarrange pickup and delivery, and finalize billing and distributedocuments as required.
• Shipment Statusreporting: Review daily monitoring reports, ensure all measurementsstandards are met, and proactively reportnon-conformances.
• Maintenance: Ensure alltables complete and current, assist in accounting issues, performRFI/RFQ as required, and ensure all communications are prompt andcontent is accurate.
• Prepares exportdeclarations and related Bills of Lading in OceanExports.
• Coordinates the outbound movement ofinternational freight shipments.
• Establishingrates and services with third partycarriers.
• Some knowledge of interpretingLetters of Credit would be an asset.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate must have two (2)to three (3) of experience handling ocean or air exportfunctions
• Prefer at least one (1) to three (3)years of experience in a customer service typeenvironment.
• A college degree is preferred butnot required.
• Must be able to work in a fastpaced office.
• Good communication, attention todetail, and organizational skillsrequired.
• Candidate must possess a strong teamwork attitude.
• Leadership experience is astrongly desired.
• Candidate must be PC literatewith MS Office applications.
