Summary:
To prepare detailed drawings of the project based on the drawings provided by design tea/ client/ consultant so as to enable the production department to start production.
- Prepare detailed shop drawings using Autocad in accordance with the specifications and conceptual drawing provided by the customer/consultant so as to enable the production department to start production.
- Support production/project team/design team as and when required on design related queries, relevant during project development.
- Incorporate changes/amendments, if any, suggested by design tream/ client during production or installation process and present a revised drawing for the approval of the client.
- Ensure that all required design deliverables are provided on time and are accurate in accordance with the specifications & local bylaws.
Diploma or equivalent in CAD software preffered.
Skills & requirements
5-8 years of experience in construction industry with min 2-3 years in a carpentry/ joinery field
Able to handle projects drafting details independently
Able to handle fitout and joinery projects independently including preparing necessary schedules and RFIs, shop drawings, co-ordination between different trades and managing juniors.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Diploma (preferred)
