Description

We are seeking Finance Manger / Chief Accountant with hands on UAE experience preferably from RealEstate & Hospitality domain knowledge.

• Maintain accurate accounting records and provide financial reports for the group under the umbrella of the centralized accounting system using ERP
• Oversee the financial health of an organization and help ensure its continued viability.
• Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.

• Monitor funds of the group, and assist in the formulation and implementation of an effective cash management plan
• Liaise with the accounting team to ensure that financial reporting is in compliance with regulations.
• Performs reconciliation for credit card, bank, and any intercompany transactions in a timely manner.
• Foster a streamline process for the whole Finance Department.
• Furnish monthly performance report to the higher management.
• Responsible for VAT registration and VAT return filing
• Maintain Intercompany balances file to ensure proper reconciliation and eliminations
• Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company's status and financial forecasts.
• Supporting the Finance Officer to provide the Board of Directors and Senior Management with periodic management information as to financial performance and condition, cash flow and budgetary variance.
• Prepare Monthly Financial Report and comparing with the Budget and providing necessary variance explanation to be shared with Group Finance

• Bachelor's or Master degree in accounting or Finance or equivalent
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA or CPA will be preferred.
• 510 years' working experience as a Financial Manager or Chief Accountant or equivalent role.
• Financial accounting, management and reporting experience in Real Estate & Hospitality business.
• Organisation, planning skills and the ability to prioritise

• Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
• Effective management skills (upwards and downwards) and the willingness to coach and train others.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of commercial business, specially as it relates to hotel management and real estate.

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
