To support our Team in Dubai, UAE we are looking for:

Field Service Representative

You should be an experienced professional who have hands-on experience in Hyper Compressors maintenance.

You should have at least 10+ years' extensive experience overhauling Hyper Compressors.

Additionally, is expected you have experience servicing other reciprocating compressor types like Laby compressor and Process Gas API-618 compressor types in the Petrochemical/ Downstream Industry.

Your tasks will be the following:

• Hands-on experience overhauling Hyper Compressors and auxiliaries.
• Shall work independently on Hyper Compressors and supervise field service team whatever required.
• Experience overhauling Laby type compressors and Process Gas API-618 compressors.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain reciprocating compressors.
• While on customer premises bring to the customer's attention any deficiencies or potential hazards observed.
• Working outdoor and indoor as well on LPG/LPM & LNG ship carriers.
• Advise customers of new developments (opportunities to upgrade older equipment) and requirements regarding stocking of spare parts and service activities.
• To help Clients with their problems or complaints and to achieve a satisfactory solution.
• Ensure all service work is completed within the allocated time frame and meets with total customer satisfaction.
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and autonomy is required.
• Provide technical assistance / advise to Burckhardt Compression's service team.
• Responsible for organization and administrative duties which are connected to the work.
• Provide a technical report of all service work in accordance with Burckhardt compression's reporting standards for each assignment.
• Communicate regularly with technical specialists at Burckhardt Compression AG, Switzerland.
• Travel activity to approx. 80% in the middle east region and worldwide when required.
• Act always in accordance with Company standards and procedure for Health, Safety and Environmental.
• Respond efficiently to the demands of administration procedures imposed either by BCAG, BCAE, BCSA, HR or Clients.
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 10+ years' experience servicing reciprocating compressors in the Petrochemical/ Downstream Refinery Industry.
• Experience on Hyper compressor types, preferred on Burckhardt Compression Hyper compressor.
• Fluent in English, verbal and written.
• Having a valid driving license.
• You have a strong service orientation, enjoy working with people from different nationalities and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent MS Office proficiency such as MS Word, Excel.
• Undertake all company, software and external training as directed by the Line Manager either at BCAG or BCAE & BCSA offices or as required.
• You appreciate regular customer contact, have high flexibility, adaptability, endurance, and perseverance, willing to work overtime hours when required.
• A high degree of independence, communication skills in discussions with international clients and a highly developed quality conscience are characterizing your personality.
• Willing to perform any additional duties and projects as necessary and as directed by the Line Manager.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision and the ability to work under adverse conditions.
• Confident, resourceful, robust and you love self-responsibility.
• Performs proactive sales activities.
• On request provide supervision to on-site personnel in connection with repair, retrofit, upgrade, and complete work when required on Burckhardt Compression reciprocating compressors at service facility.
