Alpin Limited is a multidisciplinary sustainable cleantech consultancy based in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi.

The local team is composed of a diverse range of experts who lead their respective fields, including Climate Change Experts, Decarbonization consultants, ESG Advisors, Sustainability Professionals, Commissioning authorities (CxA), Construction managers, MBAs, and building physics qualifications


Our current projects include:
Sustainability Policy development with the public sector, The Abu Dhabi Midfield Terminal Building, Community developments such as Al Zahia and Tilal Al Ghaf, Hospitality and leisure major developments such as AMAALA and Red Sea, as well as various Office

Buildings & Residential Buildings and several other high-profile projects in regions of operations.

Position Details:


  • UAE fulltime office attendance
  • Midcarrier level

Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Member of Climate Change & Policies team.
  • Manage the implementation and documentation of sustainability policies.
  • Responsible to manage schedules, resourcing, tasks, and quality control for their projects.
  • Responsible to ensure all required reporting for internal and external stakeholders is completed in accordance with the applicable reporting framework.
  • Shall be responsible to track and manage the progress of the project team's compliance with the applicable policies, standards, and strategies.
  • Shall be the main focal point of contact with clients and the project team.
  • Shall participate in the development, update, enhancement, and implementation of Climate Change & Sustainability Policies.
  • Understand and implement the principles of project management (scheduling, resource leveling, effective meetings, client relations).
  • Develop technical strategies for energy, carbon, water, and waste management, mitigation, reduction, and neutrality.
  • Prepare and deliver technical and promotional Presentations.
  • Deliver White Papers as required by their line managers.
  • Support the company in its rapid growth plans.
  • Conduct product and technology research.
  • Contributions to regional publications, lectures, teaching assignments, speaking engagements, and webinar/seminars.
  • Maintain the required internal KPIs and strive for continued personal development.
  • Open for secondment roles.
  • Capable and able to travel on business trips.

HSE Roles, Responsibilities and Accountability:


  • In addition to your responsibility towards following ALPIN's Integrated Management System, every employee at ALPIN is required to familiarize themselves with ALPIN's Environmental Impact Assessment and contribute towards minimizing their individual environmental impact in the course of their work.
  • It is the duty of all employees to act within the legal responsibilities imposed upon them and the Company's Quality, Environment and Health & Safety policies. All employees must familiarize themselves with the Company's Integrated Management System's policies and procedures

Skills:


  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with both clients and consultants;
High level of emotional and social intelligence

  • Capable of managing different project team members from different backgrounds
  • Have background within the built environment sector (5 years)
  • Working Knowledge of MEP, Construction Management and Design
  • Demonstrated project experience on 5 projects in a related role (Sustainability Consultancy)
  • Knowledge of current climate change issues and protocols
  • Knowledge of carbon accounting and the GHG Protocol
  • Familiar with Net Zero strategies and associated standards
  • Knowledge of current sustainability standards: LEED, Al Sa'fat, Estidama, Mostadam, BREEAM
- (Preferred or commitment to achieve within specified timeframe) LEED AP, Estidama, BREEAM Accreditation or other certification as required to execute works

  • Comprehensive written & spoken Arabic and English
  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline (Environmental, Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture)
  • UAE experience
  • Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fastpaced environment
  • Ability to selfmanage
  • Strong communication skills (Written, electronic & spoken)

Additional Experience/Certifications:


  • UAE Citizen is preferred, followed by Arabic nationality
  • Handson engineering and project management skills (PMP)
  • Master's Degree is a plus (not required)
  • UAE Driver's license & personal mode of transportation
  • Passport which allows for efficient regional travel
