(Senior) Business Development & Marketing Manager – Leading Full-Service Law FirmBased in Dubai, an exciting international opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development & Marketing Manager or Senior Manager to join a leading full-service law firm to provide support to partners and fee earners with their business development and marketing activities.

Reporting to the Senior Partner and CEO, the successful applicant will be joining a firm who for the last 40 years have been at the forefront of shaping the legal landscape of the UAE.

With a client base including local and international market players as well as government entities, the firm regularly advise on complex and high-profile matters across the Middle East and beyond.

Acting as a trusted business advisor to the leadership team and senior lawyers, and liaising directly with clients and procurement teams when required, you will work closely with the firm's Senior Partner to develop and implement an innovative and highly effective business development and client marketing strategy for the firm's 3 UAE offices.

The Business Development & Marketing Manager or Senior Manager will be accountable for the delivery of a responsive, efficient and business-aligned business development and marketing service across the region, ensuring that central and local colleagues work effectively together, providing leadership and overseeing the implementation of activities from other members of the team, to deliver timely services of high value and relevance.

Regularly reporting on progress and results, you will manage competitive intelligence gathering and work with partners and practice heads to identify and evaluate new market and business development opportunities.

Working with partners to prepare pitches and proposals will represent a key focus of the role, including the provision of coaching and training.

From a marketing perspective, the role holder will oversee the firm's communications plan to ensure the firm's branding objectives are achieved and that the firm's brand message, capabilities and practice successes are projected to the market in a consistent and productive manner across all channels.

You will be expected to develop a strong media strategy, including building relationship with press outlets, and maintain an effective external communication schedule through active engagement with lawyers on current and ongoing topics.

In addition, you will be responsible for advising on and assisting with the legal directory and awards submission processes and overseeing the development and maintenance of the firm's website.

The chosen candidate be a bright graduate or equivalent with considerable strategic and "hands-on" marketing and business development experience gained in a professional services organisation, ideally a law firm, to include a track record of success in raising brand awareness and maintaining and enhancing market positioning.

An understanding of competitive market intelligence gathering, analysis and use will also be essential.

Proactive, driven and highly motivated, the Business Development & Marketing Manager or Senior Manager will be an effective team-player with excellent communication, project management and facilitation skills and a strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
