Description
To work effectively as part of ateam building inspecting maintaining and repairing company assetsand equipment onshore offshore and internationally. To use yourskills and knowledge to assess and apply effective electricalrepairs and upgrades of equipment. Help train colleagues acrossvarious disciplines. Undergo relevanttraining.
Duties
Check service repair and maintain all companyequipment.
Inspect and assess theelectrical and associated systems to determine the requirements forrefurbishment replacement or repair.
Repair or replace defective and/or worn parts andcomponents.
Apply CompeX/IECeXderived inspection principles to assess the use of ATEX certifiedequipment.
Attend daily workshop orsite briefings.
Generate accurateEngineer Inspection reports of assets andequipment.
Log and report informationin the maintenance jobsheets.
Provide technicaladvice and assistance to alldepartments:
Liaise withEngineering Department to obtain information to assist the build ofnew equipment.
Liaise with otherdepartments to promote suitable improvements to the process assetsand
equipment.
Instruct site based operational staff on the correct use andoperation of an asset.
Sourceinformation from third party representatives asnecessary.
HSEQ: ensuremaintenance requirements are fully understoodby:
Follow all company andHSEQ procedures.
Address any concernsand taking appropriate actions in conjunction with companyprocedures.
Attending monthly safetymeetings with HSEQpersonnel.
Out of HoursMaintenance/Process SupportAssistance:
Provide backupassistance to other company personnel by mobile phone asrequired.
Offshore/OverseesProcess Support supporting offshoreoperations:
Travellingoffshore to check service & repair equipment asrequired.
Be prepared to undertakemedicals vaccinations and training as required for offshoretravel.

Qualification(s)&Training
Basic Offshore Survival Induction& Emergency Training (BOSIET)
Must have Working Experience or understanding ATEX & EXstandard and holding current COMPEX or IECEx Certification orability to obtain certification within 2 years from assuming thejob role
C&G 2392 Inspection&Testing
Ability to work well with staff at all levels
Inspection of machine electricalsystems Fault Finding / Testing andRepairs
Work with ElectricalSchematic and wiring Diagrams
Carryout maintenance routines
Carry outinstallations
Repair breakdowns
