Collins Aerospace Interiors Business Unit is looking for a high performing individual to join our Aftermarket Services team in a customer facing role.

This position is for a mid to senior professional with in depth knowledge and technical expertise in Program Management, who leads medium-sized to large programs.

Develops program plans, schedules, and budgets. Supports strategic planning efforts, solutions for program/customer problems, contract negotiations, and program execution.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Leads medium to large programs to ensure adherence to program plans, schedules, and budgets for programs and recommends appropriate adjustments.
  • Directs program phases from inception through completion.
  • Prepares and presents strategy, progress, and results.
  • Supports annual strategic planning effort & ongoing business reviews.
  • Guides improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Establishes program operating cadence & flow of information between parties to ensure compliance to contractually defined program reviews.
  • Monitors customer usage activities and proposes changes (additions/deletions) to contractual inventory list.
  • Works with customer and internal functional disciplines to understand special customer activities (aircraft walks, heavy checks, product campaigns, maintenance schedules, Cchecks, etc.)
  • Familiarity with customer fleet profile/program expansion opportunity /future demand & program solutions
  • PMA parts review / intelligence
  • Supports development of new business growth strategies.
  • Participates with contracts management in negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, including coordinating preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, operational budgets, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts to ensure legal compliance.
  • Owns issues and develops meaningful partnerships across the company and with customers.
  • Delivers consistent results and develops strategic initiatives for the future.

Qualifications/Experience Needed:


  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
