General Manager

The General Manager will lead a vibrant restaurant on Yas Island, overseeing daily operations and ensuring the highest standards of food, service, and ambiance. This role requires a strategic leader passionate about hospitality, with the ability to drive revenue, inspire a team, and elevate the dining experience.

Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year

Job Description:

This is a high-profile leadership position that oversees all aspects of restaurant operations, including dining services, kitchen, bar, and support functions. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in F&B leadership, with strong financial acumen and operations expertise.

Main Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence: Oversee daily restaurant operations, optimize workflow and resource allocation, leverage technology for operational improvements, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Business and Financial Management: Develop and monitor budgets, ensure profitability and cost control, develop sales and profit improvement strategies, and manage vendor relationships.
Marketing and Growth: Collaborate with Marketing team to implement brand-building strategies, develop digital and social media strategy, focus on Customer Experience innovation, and collaborate with marketing teams for targeted campaigns.
Strategic Planning and Growth: Develop and execute long-term growth strategies, identify new business opportunities, responsible for innovation and product development, and foster a culture of creativity.
Team Management: Foster a positive work environment, recruit, train, and lead a diverse team of hospitality professionals, continuously assess skill gaps, and address employee conflicts or concerns.
Guest Experience: Enhance the customer journey with personalized and memorable service, respond to customer feedback, innovate to offer unique dining experiences, and ensure exceptional guest service standards.

Pre-requisites:

Bachelors degree in hospitality management or equivalent experience, minimum 8+ years in F&B leadership, strong financial acumen and operations expertise, excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, pleasing personality, excellent attention to detail, observation and memory, shows compassion and is caring and driven, good listener, and flexible and willing to work long hours.
