Description

KVA is currently hiring a talented and motivated Data Analyst to join our team at our bustling Grocery Hypermarket.

As a Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to drive informed decision-making and optimize our hypermarket operations.

Responsibilities:

Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources including sales transactions, inventory records, customer feedback, and market research.

Monitor and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, revenue, customer behavior, and product performance.

Develop accurate forecasting models and demand planning strategies to anticipate future sales and optimize inventory management.

Conduct comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends, customer preferences, and potential growth opportunities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.

Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders and senior management.

Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular audits, validation processes, and data quality assurance techniques.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline.

Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the hypermarket, retail, or consumer goods industry.

Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and statistical software (e.g., R, Python).

Strong knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

Solid understanding of hypermarket operations, retail metrics, and industry trends.

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively present findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.

Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and forecasting models is a plus.
