Description

• Establishing of an in-houseelectrical / electronic development capability to support thevarious development programmes ofHALCON
• Establishing strong liaisons with othergroups (such as mechanical, mechatronic, analytical and engineeringsupport & facilities) to ensure high integrity,industrialised, and qualifieddesigns.
• Defining, budgeting and developing ofthe strategic electrical & electronic engineeringfacilities including digital & analogue electronics,software & algorithms, electromagnetics, optoelectronicsand power electronics.
• Sourcing of experiencedpersonnel and developing of the next generation of engineeringstaff.
• Managing of subordinates, includingmentoring and training.
• Participating in theDevelopment Engineering Management Team.
  

Experience &Education Qualifications:

• Engineering degree(Bachelor, Master or PhD) in electrical, electronic, computer orsoftware engineering
• At least 18years' relevant experience working in thedevelopment-engineering environment of precision guidedmunitions
• Working knowledge in the broadspectrum of electrical and electronic engineering as related toguided munition development andmanufacturing
• High level technical andmanagerial experience in the field

• Knowledge ofbest practices, engineering standards and procedures within thedefence industry

• Thorough understanding of the systemsengineering process (requirement establishment, development,verification &validation)
