    Description
    • Check the elevations, the settingout and rest of survey work by the contractor are required toensure accuracy.
    • Advise the Project Engineerand recommend actions concerning constructionsurveys.
    • Maintain the construction surveys andquantity records as per the Project Engineer'sinstructions.
    • Perform the initial baseline andcontrol surveys including the establishment of benchmarks andrecovery of any existing survey monuments to be removed at thestart of the project as directed by the ProjectEngineer.
    • Attend the Contractor'srequest for surveys, including the checking of theContractor's setting out of centerlines, structures, andslope stakes.
    • Check the field measurementsurveys including original and final cross sections, check criticalelevations, dimensions and locations of structural elements,earthwork grading, pavement, and appurtenances, check theContractor's detailed survey in advance of constructionoperations, investigate and clarify surveydiscrepancies.
    • Participate in the format andstandard procedures for calculation and documentation ofquantities.
    • Involve in the calibration andchecking of the survey instruments.
    • Involve inthe as-built review and finalization in coordination with ProjectEngineer, land surveyors andinspectors.
    • Ensures that all quality, HSE andISM requirements are defined and communicated to all concerned forthe implementation.
    • Interaction with projectteam members on day-to-day basis.
    • Interactionwith all relevant sections/ departments on requirementbasis.
    • Interaction with the client, supplier,subcontractors, third parties on requirement basis for the assignedprojects.
