- Assist attorneys in all stages of theprobate process, from initial client intake to closing theestate.
- Prepare and file probate forms,petitions, and other legal documents accurately andefficiently.
- Manage estate administrationtasks, including asset valuation, creditor notifications, anddistribution of assets.
- Conduct legal researchon probate matters and assist in drafting legal correspondence andpleadings.
- Communicate effectively withclients, courts, and third parties to ensure timely completion ofprobate proceedings.
- Maintain organized casefiles and databases to track deadlines and documentfilings.
- Collaborate with attorneys and otherparalegals to provide comprehensive support to clients.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as aparalegal, with a focus on probatelaw.
- Proficiency in handling probate forms andnavigating probate court procedures.
- Strongattention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in afast-paced environment.
- Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to interactprofessionally with clients andcolleagues.
- Proficiency in legal research anddocument drafting.
- Bachelor's degreeand/or paralegal certificatepreferred.
