We are looking for a Senior Content Technical Specialistwith seven or more years of experience who will be responsible forcoding template creation and modification technical changeseditorial corrections (bugs) and driving process improvements forcontent using XPP (XML Professional Publisher) system.

Aboutthe Role:

In thisopportunity as a Senior Content Technical Specialist youwill:

• Create necessary templates forthe creation of print deliverables from CMS or structuredwordprocessing files tagged graphics as well as more regulateddocument types (such as SGML XML and HTML) using XPP (XMLProfessional Publisher) as the primary composition system.Knowledge of this process is mandatory.
• Monitorand manage the workflows within XPP (XML Professional Publisher)system.
• Test and document existing code withinXPP (XML Professional Publisher) system basis requirements asdefined for various books produced within the system. Resolve anybugs related to the existing code and/or help in resolution oftechnical issues if it pertains to the XPPsystems.
• Involved in creation of reportsrelated to this process
• Drive processimprovements placing emphasis on usage of automation/AI in XPPprocesses
• Manage corrections related to anyXPPrelated system anomaly such that print deliverables can happenin a timely manner

AboutYou:

You will be a fitfor the role of Senior Content Technical Specialist if yourbackground includes:

• Strongunderstanding of XPP (XML Professional Publisher)Note: This is notrelated to publishing of documents using XPP in the financialdomain.
• Proficient knowledge of XML CSS XHTMLand XSLT.
• Knowledge of PERL would be aplus
• Should have strong understanding of basicprogramming techniques with proficient analyticalskills.
• Should be able to identify and fixissues during testing.
• Attention to detail andwell organized in terms of managing assignments to timelycompletion.
• Strong verbal and writtencommunicationskills
• Relationships: Internal /External: May work with a range of internal contactsincluding but not limited to Editorial teams (stakeholders)Manufacturing andTechnology.
• Certifications /Education: Bachelors degree in computer science orsimilar required
• ProfessionalExperience: 7 years ofPrior related experience basis skillset mentioned underTechnical/ProfessionalSkills
