Description

Job Responsibility:

Investigate food& safety related investigation to determine root causes and advise on methods for prevention of recurrence.
Conducting internal Food Hygiene audit & recommending the corrective action.
Monitoring of production lines in all Food areas from the receiving to delivery.
Provide expertise and directions for all the aspects of the food and beverages activities in line with the overall business strategy.
Perform regular checks on the condition, freshness, and overall quality of fruits, vegetables, and other food products.
Develop and implement quality assurance procedures for food and vegetable products.
Inspect and supervise workplaces to ensure that workers are protected from dangerous or unsafe conditions.
Inspect work space and machinery to verify that it is safe, and study the effects that business has on the surrounding environment.
Maintain food safety and hygiene related documentation.
Preparing training programs, cleaning/work schedule, updating of staff attendance & preparation and updating of HACCP and ISO 22000 Manual
Conduct inspections and audits of foods production process and premises to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene.
Ensure that all food is handled, prepared, stored and transported in as satisfactory manner.
Conduct checks and hygiene audit on all food items, storage and preparation areas.
Contact the pest control company for any pest issues in the operations area and review the pest control performance.
Investigation of customer complaints, product rejections, etc.
Coordination with legislative, regulatory and certification bodies for their requirements and ensure compliance, providing corrective actions to non conformances noted
In charge of Annual Maintenance Contracts monitoring (pest control, grease trap, fire, gas, laboratory, etc.)
Conduct internal hygiene training
Submit monthly report (Hygiene issues).
Any other related task assigned by the manager

Requirements:

Minimum 2 Years' experience in the similar field.
Bachelor's degree in Food Safetyrelated stream (Microbiology/Food Sciences/Biology)
Proven experience in quality control within the food industry, with a focus on fruits, vegetables, and related products.
Approved DM Food Safety Trainer & Experience in conducting training.
Able to work in shifts.

Salary:
AED3, AED4,000.00 per month
