    Job Description

    • Support the Middle East Africa & Asia Pacific (MEAAP) countries in all aspects of Material Logistics
    • Monitor and optimize stock levels for all Doka items to ensure availability at lowest possible costs and inventory levels
    • Support and drive inventory optimization measures to reduce slow-/non-moving inventory
    • Drive and claim accurate demand and supply signals in MEAAP countries to ensure reliable, realistic and economic material replenishment and release
    • Act as first level support for Country Logistics
    • Steer weekly replenishment of assigned Country organizations (2-tier process)
    • Check plausibility, challenge demand and release intercompany purchase orders
    • Steer material exchange between MEAAP countries and ensure that Area stocks are utilized at an optimum level
    • Trigger replenishment and source material from outside MEAAP
    • Approve external purchases of Doka standard items after checking internal sourcing alternatives
    • Monitor and escalate (non-)availability of material from Doka production or intercompany (non-)release
    • Manage deployment of available quantities in case of Bottleneck management
    • Review purchase orders of MEAAP countries and suggest reductions/cancellations or challenge non‐cancellation
    • Steering of pending intercompany purchase orders and follow up with countries to ensure ordered material is being shipped
    • Support and ensure correct and relevant master data for MEAAP countries in RapidResponse (e.g. safety stocks)
    • Execute availability requests from countries and Export business
    • Trigger improvements of relevant software tools (e.g. RapidResponse)
    • Support the improvement of processes and share best practices
    • Implement and maintain group-wide standards and processes
    • Maintain reporting transparency in regards to Materials Logistics (e.g. Power BI Logistics Dashboard)
    • Coordinate closely with the Area Operations team (CMO and YOP/QM) as well as Procurement

    Qualifications

    Knowledge / Experience
    • Min. 3 years' experience in Material Logistics and/or Procurement (preferably in formwork / construction in Asia or the Middle East)
    • Degree or similar qualification in Business, Supply Chain or Operations related studies
    • Working experience with a Supply chain planning software is advantageous
