    Description

    Description: A leadingdistributor and manufacturer of hydraulic and industrial hoses fora variety of industries. This full-time position of OperationsManager-Miami requires an individual with proven experience insales, operations, logistics and facilities management.We deal with hose applications from a variety ofindustries including automotive, construction, marine andagriculture. Candidates must haveexperience in dealing with these industries.

    Overview:This position requires at least 5 yearsexperience working in a hose fabrication and distribution business.Must be able to handle a busy counter and move customer trafficalong at a quick pace.Experience in both industrial andhydraulic hoses is a must. Candidate must have experiencein operational procedures and hose fabrication experience for ahose distributor. Candidates should be personable and possess theability to handle all kinds of customer situations and have themleave wanting to return. The successfulcandidate will have a high level of understanding of our inventoryand be able to recognize trends in customer purchases to makerecommendations for inventory levels at thebranch.

    Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible to carry out operationalproduction procedures, ensure quality of product, safety tocustomers and staff and oversee training of team members on hoseknowledge, machines and equipment along with customer serviceskills, to ensure a successful and profitablebranch.

    Responsibilities:

    • Openand Close Branch on a dailybasis
    • Responsiblefor all cash management including bank deposits and petty cashfund
    • Ensurefacility is kept organized and clean both inside and outsidedaily
    • KeepRetail Center stock up to date and accurate on an ongoing basisbins organized andwell-marked
    • Makestock adjustment daily for inventoryaccuracy
    • Makesure inventory is received properly, any adjustments made daily toreceivingreport
    • OverseeShipping and Receiving to assure product gets received anddelivered in a timelymanor
    • Maintainpayroll records for HR for processing eachweek
    • Schedulepersonnel to have ample coverage for the Branch to account forvacationsetc.
    • Managepaperwork workflow to ensure production schedules are met andmonthly budgetsachieved
    • Followup on quotes to successfully convert quotes to orders withincompany marginguidelines
    • Makesure will call orders are reviewed daily and customers arecontacted in a timely manor and product is moved out of thewarehouse to thecustomer
    • Makesure building maintenance and equipment maintenance is performedregularly
    • Controloperational expenses within budgetaryguidelines
