Description
Quality Control Officer is responsible for the overall compliance of activities related to operations, quality and procedures mentioned in GCI QMS.
- Quality Control Officer is also responsible to implement procedures, program etc. as and when required.
- Ensure that processes needed for the GCI Quality Management System (QMS) are established, properly implemented and maintained.
- Responsible in providing updated Production and FG reports on a daily basis.
- Ensure that records are established and maintained for the in process and dispatch activities, which includes Certificate of Analysis (COA) as needed.
- Quality Control Officer must ensure that all items for delivery are correct (product name and quantity) and as per customer requirement.
- Must ensure that all pallets of finished goods are attached with correct and complete product identifications.
- Analyze data on the effectiveness of the QMS and evaluate where continual improvements of the QMS can be made.
- Coordinate continual improvements of the QMS for process and dispatch.
- Monitors reference samples from customers (cans, caps, boxes) and should be returned back in place in the designated storage cabinets after use.
- Maintain samples sending and receiving record on daily basis Take signature for receiver and hand over duly filled in sample record register
- Counterchecks Work Orders as per Production Plan and quality related reports.
- Inform to QA Executive the status of availability of all chemicals used for testing for proper replenishment.
- Check material on hold from previous shift and discuss with Quality Systems Head /Shift In charge for proper disposition (schedule sorting as needed).
- Recommends Quality staff for the needed training programme as per requirement of succession planning.
- If any deviation observed in Raw Material (Parameter wise, Appearance wise or Function wise) immediately inform to QA for further action
- QC Officer shall maintain color standard of each variant for their future reference, for that prepare LSD and same has been send for customer approval.
- Responsible in monitoring jobs on line to prevent recurrence of customer's quality complaint.
- Ensure proper root cause analysis for customer complaints in conjunction with QA Manager
- Adheres to all company, Health and Safety policies at all times.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by Quality Head and Plant Management.

Education:
- Bachelor's (required)
Experience:
- relevant work: 4 years (required)
