- Minimum 12-15 years' work experience preferably in a Banking or Financial entity
- Minimum 8+ years in relevant data roles
- Knowledge & Experience of a variety of Financial and Banking systems and Applications
- Ability to influence effectively at all levels
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- A data certification such as CMDP or CIMP is a plus

Alexander Ash are currently looking to hire a Senior Data Governance Consultant for one of their prestigious clients in the UAE. This role would be a contractual role based out of Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate will have overall responsibility for the design and implementation of data governance at the organization to support informed and data-driven decision-making, timely and accurate data, and publication of statistics, banking and insurance data reporting. Responsibilities include metadata management, data lifecycle and records management, data quality, data stewardship and ownership responsibilities, driving the adoption of data policies through partnership, measurement and KPIs, development of the data governance framework, policies and procedures, and producing governance packs for committees.
