    Job Description
    • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE management systems for assigned projects or facilities.
    • Conduct risk assessments, including HAZOPs, JHA, and LOPA studies, to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
    • Review engineering designs and procedures to ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulations.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory changes in the UAE.
    • Provide technical advice and guidance to other HSE professionals and line managers.
    • Conduct HSE audits, inspections, and investigations to identify and address non-conformities.
    KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
    • Strong understanding of relevant UAE and international HSE regulations (e.g., ADNOC, API).
    • Excellent risk assessment and auditing skills
    • Proficiency in HSE software applications.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
    • Sound training and presentation skills
    • Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE management systems.
    • Proven experience of conducting safety skills and awareness training programs.


    Requirements

    • Class 1 Consultant and/or Contractor experience.
    • Profound familiarity with ADNOC group standards.
    • Previous experience as a Lead Engineer in a project or department.
    • Excellent understanding of Process Safety.
    • Good understanding of Environmental Safety & Occupational Safety.
    • Extensive exposure to project workshops such as HAZOP, PHA, Bowtie, IVB, QRA, Drop Object analysis, risk rating, and analysis.
    • Preference will be given to candidates approved by regulatory bodies or OPCOs.
    EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
    • 10+ years relevant experience is required
    • Minimum 8 years in Oil & Gas industry at engineer level
    • Preference for candidates who have experience in ADNOC group of companies
    • Qualification (minimum) - Bachelor degree in Engineering discipline / Health, Safety or Environmental Sciences or an equivalent qualification is desirable.

    WORKING HOURS - 8 hours a day 5 days per week
