A well reputed restaurant in Abudhabi is Hiring a Sales and events coordinator, with restaurant, catering and events experience:

  • Regularly research and stay informed about major events happening identifying opportunities for participation or partnership.
  • Expertly manage the registration process on all necessary government portals and event's organizers to ensure eligibility for tendering on governmentsponsored events.
  • Monitor and identify tender opportunities for events organized by government entities or through cooperative initiatives.
  • Prepare and submit competitive bids for event tenders, ensuring compliance with all requirements and showcasing our capabilities to meet and exceed expectations.
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales and catering plan to promote products or services at events, maximizing opportunities for customer engagement and revenue generation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials and agencies, becoming a trusted partner for private and governmentsponsored events.
  • Track sales performance and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies, making adjustments as necessary to achieve targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create promotional materials and campaigns that enhance event presence and drive sales.
  • Coordinate with vendors, and internal teams to ensure all aspects of the event are managed, from venue selection to setup.
  • Develop event plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the execution of events, ensuring they run smoothly.
  • Conduct postevent evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all event planning and execution activities are in compliance with government regulations and tender requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Proven experience in in event planning, sales and management, with a strong emphasis on government tenders and contracts.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in registering and managing accounts on government procurement and tender portals.
  • Excellent negotiation, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies targeting the government sector.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements associated with government contracts and events.
  • Creative thinking and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by events.

Salary:
AED5, AED6,000.00 per month
