Responsible for providing comprehensive critical care services to neonates, infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Provide advanced critical care management for pediatric patients in the PICU.
Perform thorough patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor clinical progress.
Manage ventilated patients and provide advanced airway management.
Respond promptly to pediatric emergencies and code situations.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including pediatricians, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff.
Supervise and guide junior medical staff where applicable.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
Ensure adherence to infection control, patient safety, and accreditation standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
Qualifications & Requirements
Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
MD in Pediatric Critical Care / Pediatric Intensive Care.
Valid DHA registration as Specialist.
Minimum 5 years recent of experience in a PICU setting.
Current BLS, PALS, and preferably ACLS certification.
Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
