    Job Description

    Establishment Training Tools

    • Compilation and updating of the requisitetechnical training manuals and tools per field in collaborationwith the Director of Talent & Culture.
    • Is familiar with Corporate Talent Strategy issued by theCorporate Centre and ensures that they are applied accordingly.
    • Helps in coordinating and supports yearlyperformance reviews for supervisory staff together with theT&C Department.
    • Orders and organisesdistribution of Training Certificates.
    • Ongoing information of arising problems or conflicts within thedepartments on a confidential basis.
    • Evaluates customer needs from feedback of the guest questionnairesand compiles relevant measures for correction or improvement.

    Administration

    • Compiles course/training requirements andattendance.
    • Compiles hotel inspectionreports on the job observance.
    • Ensuresproper course material and updated job descriptions for inhouseDepartmental Trainers are available for all departments.Continuously adapts them with relevant supervisors to theiroperational requirements.
    • Counseling ofsupervisors/heartist in training matters (How to Train etc.).
    • Establishes monthly training quality andbusiness summary reports according to Hotels/regional officerequirements.
    • Implements Accor &Pullman Learning & Development standards
    • Coordinates updating of personal files of heartisttogether with the T&C Department.
    • Ensures that individual development plans are put together on anannual basis for Heads of Departments and below in the property
    • Proper Quality Reporting and action planningimplementation according to time frame.

    Training

    • Training ofinhouse Departmental Trainers and selecting of those to cover everyrequired field
    • Conducts coordinates andsupervises all kinds of internal technical training and courses ofthe Department Heads and supervisors.
    • Ensures that departmental training schedules are established everymonth in advance.
    • Coordinates trainingactivities in coordination with General Manager HODs and RegionalTeam when applicable.
    • Oversees the propertyinduction process and programmes
    • Ensurescompletion of all training according to the company Training Matrix
    • Evaluates and updates property trainingprogrammes and initiatives
    • Identifiesstrategic partners for development and delivery of training whenappropriate
    • Drives elearning within theproperty

    Quality

    • Lead planning activities for Quality
    • Lead a team of quality assurance committeethat performs quality assurance checks. This includes hiring skilldevelopment and managing performance.
    • Setting quality assurance objectives and ensuring that targets areachieved.
    • Conduct monthly Quality Assurancemeeting debate planning and action plans and discussing the qualitystatus quo and areas of development.
    • Monitorthe guest feedback and staff performance and assess the pros andcons and assist finding keys to develop and maintain high quality.
    • Assists in new hire or recurrent trainingdelivery as required.
    • Review Global BrandCompliance assessment and improvement reference with the hoteldepartment heads and ensure setting and implementation of theaction plans required.
    • Promote quality andperformance improvement throughout the hotel.
    • Identifying relevant qualityrelated training needs anddeliver training.
    • Gather relevant data andproduce statistical reports in a monthly basis.
    • Conducts internal Audits and inspections to ensurestandards and objectives are met
    • Coach andmotivate managers and staff and display high influencing skills
    • Performs special projects and other dutiesas assigned by management as required.

    General

    • InformsGMHODsSupervisors regarding important events and news from withinthe hotel operation to avoid misunderstandings and rumors/gossip.
    • Activities shall be guided by the principlesshown within the Learning and Development purpose and objectives.
    • Takes personal care of a regular exchange oftechnical knowhow with his/her colleagues from learning &development at Corporate Office.
