Key responsibility for this position will include:

Ensure up to date accounting of sales, purchases, payments, receipts and other transactions.
Prepare Sales Invoice to customers.
Ensuring invoices from suppliers are paid on or before due date.
Managing the Payment and Receipts and coordinate with banks for matters such as timely payment processing, ensuring collections are properly credited etc.,
Preparing payment slips for both local & international payment requests.
Managing collections and ensuring clients adhere to the agreed payment terms through regular followup.
Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines
Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information
Preparing and Maintaining Cash Flows Maintaining Petty Cash records for office and operations.
Understanding and interpreting the meaning of numbers.
Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries.
Assisting in general financial management and analysis.
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
Comply with financial policies and regulations

Qualifications for Accountant

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
57 years of accounting/finance experience
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Experience with accounting software
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation Highly detailoriented
