BA/BS with 5-8 work experience required in business development; Negotiation and Selling skills.

  • 13 years of people management/mentoring experience
  • Skilled in phonebased negotiations, with objectionhandling skills.
  • Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to persuade, convince and explain complex concepts in a simple manner.
  • Fluent in English (ideally Arabic).

Amazon, one of the world's leaders in e-commerce is looking for an Account Manager (business-development professionals) to join its Third-Party Marketplace team based in Dubai, UAE.

To be successful in this role you must have superior negotiation, selling, communication, and presentation skills.

Operating in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment, working autonomously and taking full control & responsibility for achieving business objectives.


Key Responsibilities include:


  • Effectively prioritize and lead a portfolio of selling partners to consistently meet/exceed the product family's targets (both Inputs/Outputs metrics).
  • Be your seller partners' consultant, providing them with datadriven insights and advice to optimize their success and grow their business at
  • Identify key business opportunities of your categories by spotting popular brands, trends, and pricing to ensure managing the portfolio toward a growth plan.
  • Work closely with selling partners, educating them about Amazon's high standards of Delivery and Customer Experience.
  • Enable merchants to learn and master Amazon's tools and systems so they may become selfsufficient in managing their catalog, inventory and performance efficiently and to the required standards.
  • Learn and understand the specificities of your categories to spot trends, seasonal items and competitive pricing to best tailor your pitch and advice to selling partners.
  • Track and report development results, analyze, interpret reports and information for your portfolio of selling partners.
  • Prioritize your time optimally to achieve your targets in a KPIdriven environment.

  • Experience with business development.
  • Experience in Internet, ecommerce and retail companies preferred.
  • Experience in the fashion industry is a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of Advanced Excel, SQL, sales and productivity tools like Oracle Business Intelligence or Salesforce is a plus.
