We are looking forward to hiring aPulmonologist who focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, andprevention of lung diseases. The field involves broad scope andincludes the treatment of many conditions from asthma to cancer,from tuberculosis to sleep disorders.

Must havethe ability to diagnose illnesses and treat patients with lungdisease. To work with physical therapists to develop exerciseprograms geared towards improving lunghealth.

DutiesandResponsibilities

• Performingdiagnostic procedures, such as pulmonary function tests,bronchoscopies, sputum analysis, biopsies, cultures, and arterialblood gas tests
• Providing patients with ongoingcare for chronic conditions such as asthma, lung cancer, emphysema,chronic bronchitis or pneumonia
• Performingsurgery to treat lung diseases or disorders that cannot be treatedthrough other means
• Prescribing medications tohelp control symptoms of certainconditions
• Diagnosing and treating patientswith pulmonary disorders, including asthma, emphysema,tuberculosis, pneumonia, lung cancer, interstitial lung disease,lung infections, and other conditions
• Providingmedical care to patients in hospitals or intensive care units whilesupervising the work of other medical staffmembers
• Tracking patient's progresswith periodic follow upvisits

Requirements/ Skills /Qualifications

• Bachelor'sdegree in Medicine and Specialization certificate inPulmonology
• Completion of internship inMedicine and clinical residency inpulmonology.
• Active medical license to practicewith good standing
• Good communicationskills
• 3-4 years of minimum work experience inthe specialty field
• Willing to work on highpressure and long working hours
