Job Purpose


The School Marketing Executive is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing activities to promote the school's brand, increase student enrollment, and support overall growth.


  • Overall responsibility for the delivery of marketing and communications activities, with a focus on acquiring new parents and delivering positive experience to existing parents
  • Management of the school social media channels and internal and external communication
  • Promote, showcase and market the school to both external and internal stakeholders primarily parents, prospective parents, press and social media outlets
  • Through a range of marketing, communication and social media tactics develop stronger loyalty and advocacy for the school and the wider Taaleem group to ensure the school meets its recruitment, reputation and retention targets
  • Execute Central Office Taaleem Marketing strategy and support the creation of a school specific Marketing strategy, working closely alongside CO Marketing team

Key Relationships (Internal and External)

  • Key agencies marketing, creative, social media, or branding supporting the school and Taaleem group in achieving its vision and targets
  • Key leaders and teaching staff in schools
  • Existing parents, visitors to the school, school employees and Senior Leadership, Central Office Marketing team and other departments as required, media agencies, social media platforms

Key Accountabilities

Marketing Strategy Development

  • In tandem with CO Marketing team, develop and execute the marketing strategy to enhance the school's brand awareness and reputation.
  • Collaborate with the school's leadership team to align marketing objectives with the institution's goals and values.
  • In charge of the school's Marketing budget planning

Digital Marketing

  • Manage the school's online presence and oversee the development and implementation of digital campaigns
  • Oversee the school's website, ensuring it provides accurate and compelling information to attract prospective students and parents
  • Coordinate with external agencies to develop impactful advertising strategies and monitor campaign performance.

Content Creation and Marketing Collateral

  • Collaborate with agencies to develop marketing collaterals such as videos, brochures, flyers, etc.
  • Ensure all marketing materials align with the school's brand guidelines and effectively communicate the school's unique value propositions.
  • Identify sponsorship and partnership opportunities to enhance the school's brand visibility

Events and Open Days

  • In tandem with the school Admission Team, plan, organize, and promote school events, open days, information sessions, and tours to attract prospective students and parents.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless event logistics and create a positive experience for attendees.

  • Promote school events on all school digital platforms
  • Identify partnership opportunities to enhance the school's visibility

Analytics and Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, including website traffic, social media engagement, lead generation, and conversion rates
  • Generate monthly and termly reports to assess the effectiveness of the school marketing strategy and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Stay up to date with marketing trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the school remains at the forefront of marketing innovation.

General

  • Support and provide cover for the schools Admission Team if needed
  • Ensure the Taaleem & School policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed at all times
  • Attend the marketing weekly and monthly meetings as required
  • Perform other duties as requested by direct & dotted reporting line managers / supervisors
  • Working within budget guidelines and company procedures

Person Specification

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communication preferred.


Experience:


Experience in a marketing/communication role, with a minimum of two years in a customer focused role preferably in a service industry.

Strong knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, social media platforms, and advertising principles.

Experience in Marketing, Communication or customer engagement functions in Education, is preferred.

  • Proficiency in content creation, copywriting, and editing
  • Creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns
  • Interpersonal skills, able to operate in a multicultural environment
