    Opportunity:

    The Events Officer assists in providing the daily logistical and operational requirements for all the events across the Louvre Abu Dhabi

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the scheduling and planning of internal and partner event requirements for the Louvre Abu Dhabi.
    • Support in the coordination with the event support staff including but not limited to security, logistics, hostesses, ushers and other specialists, in their event-specific roles and responsibilities conducting tracing as required.
    • Coordinate with Louvre Abu Dhabi departments and external stakeholders in the requirements for event operations including but not limited to AV, security, facilities, contracts, procurement, work orders, permits and delivery schedules.
    • Conduct regular standards inspections to identify and monitor project risks, reporting back to the Event Unit Head as required to support quality standards.
    • Participate in event meetings, research and special projects to coordinate, feedback and problem-solve arising issues and requirements; issue minutes of events specific meetings.
    • Support in the collating and preparing live status and debrief events reports that provide analysis, feedback, and recommendations to enhance future event planning.
    • Support in the health and safety awareness for staff, contractors and visitors throughout the planning and execution of events.
    • Support the units under the department in complex, blocked and other unforeseen circumstances that is impacting in the delivery of daily activities, projects, and other units requirements.

    Required Qualifications & Experiences:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations, Events or related disciplines
    • A minimum of 1 year of post-graduate experience in event management within an agency or in-house events team for corporate or government entities.
    • Position is only open to UAE National (with family book) and must be fluent in English and Arabic, French will be an added advantage.
