Job DescriptionPosition Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect to join our team on the employer side. The ideal candidate will possess strong design skills, expertise in reviewing construction shop drawings, and a keen eye for inspecting architectural works, conducting snags and de-snags inspection, proven experience in handing over process to the end users. The candidate should also have experience in interior design, fit out works, materials selection, material budgeting, and procurement. Furthermore, the candidate must excel in managing project progress and demonstrate efficient time management.
Responsibilities:
Design and Review:
Collaborate with the design team to develop and refine architectural plans and drawings for construction projects in line with client `s instructions and authorities' requirements /criteria.
Review construction shop drawings and ensure compliance with design intent, technical requirements, and industry standards.
Inspection and Quality Control:
Conduct regular on-site inspections to monitor the progress and quality of architectural works.
Verify that construction activities align with approved designs and specifications.
Address any construction-related issues or concerns promptly.
Interior Design and Fit-Out Works:
Contribute to the interior design process, including space planning, furniture selection, and material finishes.
Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure proper execution of fit-out works.
Integrate interior design elements seamlessly into the overall architectural design.
Materials Management:
Utilize knowledge of material types to make informed decisions during materials selection.
Prepare material budgets and conduct the procurement task to ensure timely and cost-effective material procurement.
Time Management:
Collaborate with the project management team to establish & review realistic construction schedules.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of construction activities.
