Reporting:
Operations Manager _
Estimating Costs:
Calculating the costs associated with maintenance, repair work, Annual Maintenance contract, or renovations.
This involves inspecting the facilities to determine the scope of work required and then estimating the labor, materials, and time needed to complete the job.
Inspecting Jobs:
Conducting thorough inspections of maintenance and repair works to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications. This includes evaluating the work of contractors and service providers.
Facility Management:
Overseeing the overall maintenance and operations of a facility. This includes ensuring that all aspects of the facility are in good working order and meet safety standards.
Vendor Management:
Selecting and managing contractors and service providers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that all work is completed to the desired quality and within budget.
Project Management:
Planning and managing projects related to facility improvements, expansions, or renovations. This involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing timelines, and ensuring project objectives are met.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensuring that all facility management practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including health and safety guidelines.
This role requires a blend of technical knowledge in facilities maintenance, project management skills, and financial acumen to accurately estimate costs and manage budgets.
It is essential for someone in this position to have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
