    Description

    Job Purpose:The Consultant Adult Psychiatrist will evaluate diagnose and manage a caseload of Adults through assessment planning and implementation of therapeutic interventions (both pharmacological and psychological). They will prescribe treatments or medications to address mental emotional or behavioral disorders following each patient's needs and in alignment with local regulatory guidelines.




    • Assess and diagnose Adults with a variety of psychiatric conditions

    • Perform comprehensive developmental psychosocial assessments including risk safety evaluations collect accurate detailed clinical records maintain input from families colleagues involved professionals develop implement personalized treatment plans involving pharmacological psychological interventions ensure all treatments compliant Department Health regulations provide support education guidance therapeutic care appropriate refer patients external services monitor evaluate outcomes adjust plans needed participate case reviews supervision multidisciplinary meetings provide reports summaries schools authorities other stakeholders maintain professional development through workshops seminars respect adhere strict patient confidentiality safeguarding protocols perform relevant duties assigned line service provision
