The Franchise Governance Officer is a key First Line of Defense role responsible for supporting the CCOs with franchise governance and franchise management in line with IFM and Citi's Policies and support the MENA CAO with the implementation of transformation initiatives at the countries and cluster level.
FGO will also have oversight over the FGO resources as per appointment and assigned structure and within assigned countries.Job Responsibilities:
Support CCOs in performing governance oversight for country franchise, including legal entity managementEnsure that country governance framework (Including HMCs) complies with policy requirements and committees are run in accordance to applicable charters.
Coordinate BRCC on behalf of the CCOs. Review deck materials and distribute to participants. Prepare and distribute minutes. Monitor follow-up actions.
Job Requirements:
At least 10 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry, preferably with experience in corporate governance, enterprise risk management, consulting, program management, compliance and/or legalGraduate/ Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Legal and/or FinanceUp-to-date understanding of key risk management and corporate governance conceptsGeneral understanding of financial institutions framework and applicable regulation
