Our client is an international construction and infrastructure business with operations in the Middle East and the UK, who has exclusively engaged Charterhouse to recruit a Legal Counsel to handle their in-house and external legal matters.

This is a much broader business legal role than your typical legal counsel role, reflecting the innovative multi-disciplinary approach of the business, reporting directly to the Senior Management Team.

About the role

This is a diverse role that will require someone who is an experienced legal counsel with demonstrable post-qualified experience (in-house or in a law firm) with a strong focus on corporate and commercial law.

You must be well-versed in statutory filings, corporate records for relevant jurisdictions, company formations across multiple international and local locations, drafting board resolutions as well as developing and implementing internal governance policies.

Handling disputes, Insurance and reviewing contracts is also crucial to this role.

About you

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's Degree in Law, and must have strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

The client believes the role requires a qualified lawyer with at least 4 years' PQE with relevant experience as per the above.
