Experienced Tax Accountant - RemoteThis is a remote position.

Our client is looking for a passionate remote Tax Accountant to join their team They are looking for someone who can thrive on deadlines, apply tax experience to a wide variety of transactions, and make significant contributions towards the team success, with 3 to 7 years of experience in accounting and taxThis role will involve tax compliance, as well as tax research, analysis, and documentation.

You will utilize a variety of skills to solve problems relating to income tax preparation and tax planning, allowing you to be a continuous learner with a growth mindset in order to thrive in a demanding environment, where decisions need to be made quickly and accurately.

You can translate your technical skills and understanding of the context around you into clear and pragmatic solutions for the team.

Prepare and/or review personal, business, estate and trust tax returnsResolve technical questionsMake recommendations for refinement of engagement proceduresBe alert to client needs through all phases of the engagementKeep clients informed on financial and other business developments in their organizations and industriesHone your skill in supervising and prioritizing simultaneous engagements and delegating dutiesCommunicate effectively with clients on a one-on-one basis


Requirements:
At least 3+ years' work experience in a public accounting firmSolid grasp of personal and business tax returns within a public accounting firmMember in good standing with appropriate professional organizationsHighly competent in MS Office and other service area-specific softwareExperience with QuickBooksExperience with ProSystems tax softwareStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to perform with minimal supervisionStrong organizational skillsWillingness to adapt to changing situations and needs in a positive mannerUnwavering attention to details, deadlines, and confidentialityImpeccable professionalismInnate ability to build rapport with all levels within an organization and with a wide variety of clientsWilling and able to travel to client sites around SW Florida
