Description

The Beverage Manager is responsible to oversee the entire beverage operation of the restaurant or other venues as assigned by the Management.

Manage the business aspects of the bar, such as keeping a current liquor license, negotiating supplier contracts, taking inventory and reordering supplies, managing budgets, and setting goals.
Ensure that all bar staff are following company policies regarding drink recipes, ingredients, and preparation methods
Set objectives and targets for beverage unit/bar
Create and implement SOPs
Responsible for the timely bar set up according to the SOP and in line with the opening hours
Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages to meet set standards
Prepare and serve alcoholic drinks according to recipes and instructions provided by management
Come up with new beverage ideas
Ensure adherence to cash management procedures and stock control procedures
Oversee the bar display to maximize functionality and attractiveness
Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the bar area
Resolve customer complaints promptly
Provide the highest level of service to guests and ensure guest satisfaction.
Document any problems using an Incident Report/ Guest Service Recovery Form.
Conduct complementary, voids and reads on POS.
Conduct reads on credit card terminals.
Maintain inventory of alcoholic beverages and nonalcoholic mixers to ensure that all bar supplies are available when needed
Manage the bar's inventory by ordering liquor, beer, and other beverages directly from suppliers
Plan and implement systems to maximize sales and revenue
Ensure that all glassware and bar equipment are clean and wellmaintained at all times
