Job summary
Perform continuous inspection and surveillance of MEP works to ensure compliance with contract specifications codes standards inspect installation testing commissioning of MEP systems including PLC cabling sensing relaying devices interface coordination building services subsystems inspect firefighting systems gas-based fire suppression systems fire detection alarm systems associated controls inspect HVAC systems chilled water AHUs package units controls pneumatic electrical actuation systems inspect drainage water supply plumbing installations document non-conformances support resolution in coordination with supervision team verify only approved materials incorporated into works maintain project files quantity calculations daily diaries prepare daily reports as required by contract collect review file certificates compliance inspection tags material documentation maintain update as-built plans related to MEP works provide technical guidance junior inspectors when required coordinate subconsultants surveying material testing activities participate development safety practices safety reports quality control procedures verify installed quantities payment applications change order works respond emergency call-backs at project site when required perform additional duties associated with MEP inspection supervision assigned.
