Job Summary:

The courier driver is responsible for the timely and safe delivery of packages, documents, and other items to designated locations.

They must possess excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and customer service abilities. The courier driver will ensure that deliveries are made efficiently and professionally, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to various locations
• Plan and prioritize delivery routes to ensure timely delivery
• Load and unload packages and ensure they are securely stored in the vehicle
• Verify the contents of packages against delivery documents
• Obtain necessary signatures and proof of delivery from recipients
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any issues or concerns
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and changes
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe driving practices
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including mileage logs and delivery reports

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier
• Excellent knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns
• Ability to lift and carry heavy packages, as required
• Attention to detail and accuracy in verifying package contents
• Familiarity with GPS devices and routing software is a plus

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Commission

Contract length: 2 months

Part-time hours: 72 per week


Salary:
AED2, AED3,500.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Driving: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

• Manual or Automatic License (preferred)
